Freestyle

Skiing/snowboarding

Near the Zschokke House, the mountain station on Gerschni Alp is your access point to a cable car that takes you up to lake Trübsee. From there, the areas of Titlis pass and Joch pass can be reached (sports equipment can be rented at the Zschokke House, see infrastructure).
The area around Engelberg offers a wide range of slopes for all levels of proficiency. Modern lifts and 82 km of slopes promise an unforgettable skiing adventure.

For freestyle skiers, a number of half and quarter pipes are available.

Cross-country skiing

With a total length of 30 km, Engelberg offers four unique skiing tracks. One runs close to the Zschokke House.

Sledding

Sledding fans can enjoy over 7 km of sledding slopes. Depending on snow conditions, the slope on Gerschni Alp (5 min from the house) as well as the two slopes Brunni-Ristis and Fürenalp are open from Christmas till mid-March.
